Job OverviewThis is a full-time, entry-level position located within Amazon’s fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations, or other operations buildings. It is not a corporate, remote, or office-based role. Amazon seeks customer-focused individuals to lead teams of hourly employees across our Operations network. Our warehouses are fast-paced environments where standing, walking, and on-the-floor conversations are common for supply chain leaders.
Responsibilities- Support, mentor, and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
- Work independently in an autonomous environment.
- Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
- Work shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays, typically following a 4-day work week with 3 days off.
- Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages, operate PIT equipment, and step in as needed.
- Lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical activities like pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
- Climb and descend stairs where applicable.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with all requirements completed between May 2024 and August 2026 (must have all degree requirements met before first day).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Enrolled in or graduated with a degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering, or related fields.
Amazon provides extensive training and development. Compensation ranges from $63,600 to $82,700 annually based on location and experience. Benefits include medical, financial, and other offerings. Note that sponsorship is not available for these positions. Candidates must have work authorization without employer intervention. Relocation benefits are offered to eligible candidates.
