Position Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Automation Manager to lead our marketing automation department, primarily responsible for Oracle Eloqua. In this pivotal role you will drive the strategy, execution and optimization of automated marketing campaigns to enhance lead generation, nurturing and customer engagement. You will oversee integrations with our core tech stack—Salesforce for CRM, Optimizely for website personalization and Smartly for paid media—while managing a team to ensure seamless data flow and campaign efficiency.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
  • Lead Oracle Eloqua operations: design, build, test and deploy complex automated campaigns, including email nurturing, lead scoring, segmentation and A/B testing. Ensure high deliverability, personalization and compliance with anti‑spam laws.
  • Manage seamless integrations between Oracle Eloqua, Salesforce, Optimizely and Smartly. Collaborate with teams to automate data flows, enrich customer profiles and track multi‑channel performance.
  • Supervise and mentor the Marketing Automation Specialist and Customer Data Enrichment Developer. Foster collaboration, provide training on Eloqua best practices and delegate tasks to maximise team efficiency.
  • Monitor campaign metrics (open rates, conversions, ROI) using Eloqua analytics. Generate insights and reports to inform strategy and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Develop and implement automation strategies aligned with business goals, incorporating dynamic content, behavioural targeting and AI‑driven predictive scoring.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to data privacy regulations and industry standards. Stay updated on automation trends such as zero‑party data collection and omnichannel orchestration.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, content and product teams to align automation efforts with broader marketing initiatives and ensure efficient lead handoff.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Lead Generation Volume – number of new leads captured through automated campaigns.
  • Conversion Rate (Lead to Retail) – percentage of leads that progress to retail, indicating effective nurturing.
  • Email Campaign Performance – open rates, click‑through rates and conversion rates.
  • ROI on Marketing Automation – financial impact of campaigns.
  • Pipeline Velocity – speed at which leads move through the funnel.
  • Data Quality and Enrichment Accuracy – error rates and enrichment success.
  • Campaign Launch Efficiency – time and resources to deploy new campaigns.
  • Customer Engagement Score – overall interaction levels across channels.
  • Compliance and Deliverability Rate – adherence to regulations and inbox placement success.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience in marketing automation with Oracle Eloqua as the primary platform.
  • Highest‑level Oracle Eloqua University training and certifications, incl. Oracle Eloqua Certified Master.
  • Experience integrating Eloqua with CRM (Salesforce), website platforms (Optimizely) and paid media tools (Smartly).
  • Strong leadership skills with at least 2+ years managing small teams in marketing operations.
