Jarrett & Price is a reputable law firm specializing in personal injury and immigration law. We have a strong presence throughout Georgia and Texas, and are known for providing exceptional legal services and client-focused representation. Our immigration practice includes family-based, employment-based, humanitarian, removal defense, and non-immigrant visa matters. We are seeking a dedicated Immigration Attorney to join our growing team. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating complex immigration regulations and achieving favorable outcomes for our clients.

Position Overview

As an Immigration Attorney at Jarrett & Price, you will support clients across a broad range of immigration matters. Our practice includes:

  • Family-Based Immigration: Marriage-based cases, K-1 fiancé visas, and family petitions for permanent residency.
  • Employment-Based Immigration: Sponsoring professionals and skilled workers for temporary and permanent visas, including EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 cases.
  • Humanitarian Relief: Asylum, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), VAWA petitions, and U- and T-visa cases.
  • Naturalization & Citizenship: Assisting lawful permanent residents with naturalization and citizenship filings.
  • Removal Defense: Representing individuals in immigration court, bond hearings, and appeals before EOIR and the BIA.
  • Non-Immigrant Visas: Helping individuals obtain temporary visas for work, study, or travel, including consular processing and port-of-entry issues.

You will advocate for clients, prepare filings, attend hearings, and collaborate with our legal team to guide individuals and families through the immigration process with skill and compassion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct client consultations and develop case strategies
  • Prepare and file petitions, applications, waivers, and supporting documentation
  • Represent clients before USCIS and in immigration court proceedings
  • Draft legal briefs, motions, and appeals
  • Provide ongoing legal guidance and updates throughout each case
  • Maintain knowledge of immigration laws and policy changes
  • Work collaboratively with our case managers, staff, and attorneys across practice areas
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) and licensed to practice law in any U.S. state (or eligible for admission)
  • Minimum of 1 year of immigration law experience preferred
  • Experience with family-based and/or employment-based immigration required
  • Removal defense experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent legal writing, research, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a caseload
  • Spanish bilingual ability preferred but not required
  • AILA membership a plus
