General Summary Of Duties

The General Manager oversees all site operations, including staff recruitment, safety, facilities management, customer service, sales, compliance, and team development.

Essential Functions
  • Recruit, train, coach and develop all teammates.
  • Create a culture of accountability within the site.
  • Ensure compliance with onboarding, orientation and training processes.
  • Provide coaching and counseling to AGMs and high‑potential hourly teammates.
  • Partner with HR on disciplinary issues.
  • Drive local volume and sales through community outreach and marketing.
  • Participate in budget planning and forecasting.
  • Handle inquiries promptly and follow up on action items.
  • Review Paylocity reporting and approve payroll.
  • Complete all checklists to standard.
  • Ensure teammates use sales scripts and procedures.
  • Maintain safety compliance with all regulations.
  • Build customer relationships and foster membership sales.
  • Create weekly schedule and manage site labor.
  • Walk site during shift to ensure safety, efficiency and service standards.
  • Handle customer issues and complaints, working with District Manager to resolve them.
  • Collaborate with Facilities to maintain equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education:

    HS Diploma or equivalent preferred;
    Bachelor’s Degree in business management, hospitality or related field a plus.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 3 years management experience; preference for restaurants or hospitality; automotive industry experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
Physical Demands
  • Occasional prolonged periods of walking/standing.
  • Work outside in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds unassisted.
