As a Safety Manager, you will have a critical impact in fostering a safety-focused culture, driving best practices, and ensuring the wellbeing of all team members within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety programs and policies for manufacturing operations.
  • Lead safety training and education initiatives for all staff to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Investigate workplace accidents or incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations and ensure full compliance across the facility.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present safety reports and metrics to leadership as required.
Must-Have Skills
  • Proven experience as a Safety Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and other relevant safety regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and training skills, with the ability to engage staff at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in accident investigation and corrective action development.
  • Ability to conduct and document risk assessments and safety audits.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification.
  • Experience implementing safety programs in a lean manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives.
  • Proficiency in safety management software and reporting tools.
