This position is essential for maintaining an optimum span of control for Team Members and for providing adequate support, training and development to Team Members in multiple areas of manufacturing.

Exempt

• Lead the team in a production environment
• Manage team members’ schedules and assign daily tasks
• Perform labor operations such as assembling and sub‑assembling equipment and parts that make up the backhoe loader using hand tools and power tools
• Operate overhead cranes, manipulators and assembly equipment
• Support and develop team members and team leaders
• Continuously measure and improve safety, quality, efficiency and cost
• Conduct daily safety meetings and team meetings
• Provide training and feedback to team members to facilitate continuous improvement

Reports to the Operations Manager.

• Must pass drug screens, background checks and pre‑employment tests as applicable
• High school diploma
• Two years of assembly experience
• One year of supervisory experience

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or a related field
• Five years of assembly experience in a related industry
• Four years of supervisory/team‑leader experience

• Effective communication and problem‑solving skills
• Detail oriented and self‑directed
• Multi‑task while maintaining a sense of urgency
• Flexibility with work activities; available to work overtime
• Operate a forklift, pneumatic or various hand tools and/or heavy equipment or have the demonstrated ability to learn
• Must wear personal protective equipment as required

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including but not limited to 12‑hour shifts, 7 days a week
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 35 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
• Must perform continuous, repetitious physical activities involving fine movements or large motions
• Must grasp/pinch small items, reach out and up, and turn wrist
• Must keep pace with current production speed
• Must push/pull with reasonable force
• Must bend, stoop, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods
• Must work in multiple climates including hot/cold temperatures and dusty environments
