Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr
Position Summary:
Sam’s Club meat department associate role focusing on quality meat products, packaging, display, and customer service. You’ll be on the front lines of customer service, helping members and ensuring a quality shopping experience.
- Be a Team Member:
Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with team members; be flexible to work in other areas as needed. - Be an Expert:
Demonstrate knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepare meat products according to standards; cut boneless meat; maintain product quality. - Be a Techie:
Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage members; use handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality. - Be an Owner:
Maintain operational excellence; ensure quality and date control; secure fragile/high-shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure packaging, labeling, and storage comply with policies. - Be a Talent Ambassador:
Model high-quality service and product standards; exhibit energy and passion for the work; advocate for the department and club experience. - Compliance:
Follow company policies and ethics; use the Open Door Policy and apply in business processes. - Complete work with priorities using policies and resources; communicate progress; identify improvement opportunities; adapt to change.
