Salary note: The salary range listed in this job description is a base salary. Applicants eligible for years‑of‑service adjustments or shift differentials may exceed the range listed above.
Position Summary: This senior‑level office administrative position requires independent work decisions for detailed administrative functions or processes, involving familiarity with specialized terminology and/or software. The ideal candidate is highly organized, flexible, supportive, and capable of carrying out assigned responsibilities with considerable independence while delivering excellent customer service and collaborating in a team environment.
Responsibilities- Direct incoming calls and walk‑ins, adhering to the department’s values of good customer service.
- Distribute incoming mail to the appropriate program and/or individual.
- Handle purchasing responsibilities following required policies, procedures, and contracts.
- Reconcile bill pay documents for accuracy, following policies and procedures.
- Review and process technical correspondence: proofing for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Provide support to the environmental programs and the administrative team members.
- Manage annual office inventory.
- Perform other related work as assigned.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Available to work 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. schedule, with occasional overtime and overnight travel.
- One or more years of experience in administrative office work preferred.
