Campus - Hardware Validation Engineer

Seeking an individual to join the validation team, responsible for executing pre/post silicon validation tasks and contributing to methodology development. The ideal candidate shall be a team player who can communicate at all levels. In addition, this individual shall be capable of defining requirements and creating test cases for pre/post silicon validation.

Responsibilities:

• Define the Validation plan according to the Specification/Reference Manual of NXP Product
• Create and execute validation test cases for both pre-silicon and post-silicon validation
• Responsible for finding out the design/doc issues
• Co-work with global functional team to investigate and identify those issues, then help to work out the workaround
• Develop and maintain tools for automation and regression testing to improve efficiency

Requirements:

• Master's in Communications, Microelectronics or Computer engineering
• Familiar with software development, and on-board debugging
• Strong background in C
• Familiar with Python and capable of developing tools to improve workflow efficiency

Big plus with:

• Experience in IAR and Code Warrior debugger Tool
• Logic simulators and debug tools (VCS, Xcelium, Verdi and etc.)
• Experience in USB 2.0 or Ethernet
• Experience in ARM M0, M0+, M4 and other M Core based MCU
• Familiar with Xilinx device structure & synplicity tools (, identify, certify) & Xilinx ISE/PAR tools
• Familiar with Verilog HDL
• Fluent English (both written and spoken) and excellent communication skills. Ability to write professional and technical reports and procedures
