Senior Mechanical Engineer

Main Tasks

• Development of machines and assemblies for X-ray computed tomography
• Requirement understanding with customers and cross-functional team
• Concept design for customer’s requirement, especially for customerized solution
• Break down requirements into components design specifications
• Be familiar with industrical automation solutions, especially for transmission mechasism, servo motors, linear modules, linear motors, etc
• Battery manufacturing equipments knowledge/experience is a plus
• Generation of 3D models, 2D drawings and E-BOM
• Performing technical calculations and analyzes (e.g. tolerances, strength, cycle time), identifying and evaluating risks and developing proposed solutions to avoid them
• Regular exchange with suppliers and the teams of the other departments
• Assembly and testing of prototypes, Serial launch support
• Capable of troubleshooting and analyzing these issues from a system perspective, and expanding horizontally and vertically
• Relevant experience in a cross-site international team is a plus

• Master’s degree or above in Mechanical Engeineering or similar

• Minimal of 5 years experience in mechanical design
  .
• Experienced handling of CAD systems (preferably Creo , Solidworks
  )
• Experience in the development and design of complex mechatronic systems, especially with fast moving parts by automated motor control and multi-axis movements.
• Knowledge of transferring prototypes to series production is an advantage
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
