Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with precision, providing critical imaging support for maternal-fetal medicine, Ob/Gyn, and other medical specialties. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment, utilizing advanced imaging technology to assist in patient diagnosis and care. The position requires a strong foundation in physiology, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques, along with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations focusing on maternal-fetal health, obstetrics, gynecology, and general diagnostic imaging.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
- Operate ultrasound equipment adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
- Accurately document findings and prepare reports for review by physicians.
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper calibration for optimal imaging results.
- Collaborate with medical staff to interpret images and assist in diagnosis.
- Uphold patient care standards by demonstrating compassion, professionalism, and effective communication throughout the imaging process.
- Follow all infection control procedures to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
- Certification or licensure as an Ultrasound Technician or Sonographer.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to ultrasound imaging.
- Experience in maternal-fetal medicine or obstetrics/gynecology is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in sonography techniques, medical imaging modalities, and diagnostic radiology principles.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and patient care best practices.
- Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and interact empathetically with patients.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
