Manager - RD - Product & Solution Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the R&D team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Product Development: Oversee the design, development, and testing of new cleaning equipment, including commercial vacuum cleaners and high-pressure washers, from concept to commercialization.
• Innovation & Strategy: Develop and execute the R&D strategy, aligning it with the company's overall business objectives. Identify and explore new technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Project Management: Manage R&D projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Manufacturing, to ensure successful product launches and market adoption.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the R&D department's budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI.
• Intellectual Property: Participate in the management of the company's intellectual property portfolio, including patents and trademarks.

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a research and development role, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or leadership position.
  • Proven experience in the development of mechanical or electro-mechanical products is required.
  • Experience in the cleaning equipment, home appliance, or a similar industry is highly desirable.
• Skills:
  • Strong technical background and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Creative, strategic thinker with a passion for innovation.
  • Good business acumen and an understanding of market dynamics.
