Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring 1+ years of recent experience and floating between two units.

• Active RN license (MO or Compact) required
• BLS certification required
• 1+ years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US driver's license and US Social Security Number required for consideration

• Medical/Surgical units covering two floors: ortho, surgical, and stroke on one floor, and cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice on another
• 36-bed unit with patient ratios of approximately 1:6 depending on acuity
• Night shift schedule, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
• Floating required between the two med surg units
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Royal blue scrubs required
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
