Waste Water System Operator

This role involves working in a vibrant community, requiring a solid understanding of sanitary and storm construction. As a certified operator with at least four years of experience, you will guide junior staff while handling the complexities of wastewater collection systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair existing sewer infrastructure

• Mentor junior staff in daily operations

• Operate tools and equipment for sewer maintenance

• Follow WorkSafeBC regulations for safety measures

• Construct new storm and sanitary mains

Requirements:

• Level II Environmental Operator Certificate

• Minimum of 4 years experience in wastewater systems

• Valid BC Class 3 Driver’s License

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent

• Computer and technology proficiency
