Job SummaryThis 6.5‑hour continuing paraprofessional position in Jefferson’s Special Education department may include providing 1:1 support to students with special education needs. The daily schedule may include whole group instruction, small group teacher‑planned instruction, independent and hands‑on learning, in‑building and recess/lunch supervision, crossing patrol and social/behavioral support.
Responsibilities- Provide K‑6 grade ELA and math support.
- Assist with recess duty supervision and crossing patrol.
- Offer 1:1 student support and social/behavioral assistance.
- Support teacher‑planned instruction and independent learning activities.
- Experience with K‑6 grade ELA and math instruction.
- Ability to supervise students during recess and school crossings.
- Experience providing 1:1 support to students with special education needs.
