Job OverviewThis role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care of patients within the emergency department, managing a range of circumstances, and handling emergency or crisis situations.
Key Responsibilities- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care of patients within the facility.
- Supports and promotes a positive image of professional nursing.
- Sees patients under a variety of circumstances.
- Handles emergency or crisis situations.
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing required.
- Current Washington State RN license required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required within 30 days of hire.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) required within 6 months of hire; at least one within 6 months and both within 1 year.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within six months of hire.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum two years of experience preferred with Emergency and/or ICU experience.
- FTE: 90%
- Shift: Evening
- Pay Range: $39.00 - $68.50 hourly
- Shift differentials:
Evening $3.00/hr, Night $5.00/hr - Premiums:
Weekend $4.50/hr, Standby $4.00/hr, Charge $3.25/hr, Float/PM $2.50/hr, Per Diem 15% (on rate of pay), Certification $2.00/hr - Retention Incentive: $10,000
