Responsible for the access and control of all incoming traffic, monitoring and directing vehicles to the appropriate parking lots, and ensuring guest safety by constant surveillance of the Company’s properties.

• Stand and greet each car approaching the gatehouse, check each pass holder’s car, and ensure all guests have their own pass.
• Confirm that guests of pass holders have appropriate guest pass.
• Be polite and informative while speaking with pass holders and guests.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Notify the office for all club deliveries and guest tours and direct to the appropriate area.
• Keep the events chalkboard current for each week; announce special events and make announcements of current events on sale; hand out flyers given by management to all vehicles.
• Maintain guest log and POS register as required by the post.
• Ensure the safety of the property by never leaving the gatehouse unattended.
• Notify the front office in case of emergency and escort emergency vehicles to the emergency site.
• Enforce rules of the club at all times; lock down gatehouse at designated time.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities in a timely manner.
• Be professional by wearing the proper uniform and maintaining appearance.
• Understand the company’s ISO management systems, policies, goals, and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas.
• Other duties as assigned and as identified on the duties checklist.

• Superior customer service skills, strong communication skills, and a team player.
• Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Significant time spent on feet in a fast‑paced environment, in close proximity to other people.
• Must be able to fulfill the physical demands of the job, including the ability to be outdoors and on your feet for 8 hours a day.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Six (6) months in a hotel/resort setting preferred.

Resort/National Park concession experience preferred.
