Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a liquefied natural gas (LNG) production and export facility on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The scope includes two identical LNG trains, two LNG storage tanks, one LNG carrier berth, and associated utilities and facilities.

In this role, you will provide project field engineering specialty, including work planning, packaging, material management, quantity verification, safety and quality control, technical inspections, testing, and subcontract coordination. Your insights will help ensure all field engineering activities are safe, complete, and meet quality standards and project requirements.

• Work Planning & Packaging
  Prepare construction drawings and sketches; facilitate construction methods and procedures.
• Material Management
  Initiate requisitions for field purchases; prepare quantity takeoffs of field‑purchased material and equipment.
• Quantities
  Verify commodities in quantity tracking systems or other computer databases.
• Safety / Quality Control
  Ensure zero‑accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by all crews and equipment.
• Technical
  Show interest in continuous learning and pursue appropriate technical activities.
• System Turnover Coordinator
  Develop a firm understanding of system and area scoping and required drawings for package development.
• STR / Subcontract Coordinator
  Review and approve inspection test plans; coordinate reviews of subcontractor submittals.

• Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 5–8 years of relevant experience, or 9–12 years of relevant work experience.

• Understanding of NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E.
• Experience using electrical test equipment.
• Experience performing scheme checks.
• Experience commissioning low‑voltage transformers and panel boards.
• Experience commissioning low‑ and medium‑voltage motors.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems.
