The Senior I&C Maintenance Specialist provides advanced technical support for instrumentation, control, and measurement systems in an LNG operating environment. This role is focused on field execution, equipment reliability, and complex troubleshooting rather than data analytics or accounting activities. The position serves as a technical reference for maintenance teams and supports safe, reliable operation of critical assets.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of field instrumentation, control loops, and measurement equipment
• Diagnose failures and reliability issues affecting measurement, analyzers, and control systems
• Support planned and corrective maintenance activities to minimize unplanned downtime
• Act as technical authority for instrumentation, measurement devices, and control architecture
• Coordinate maintenance execution with operations, engineering, and contractors
• Review equipment performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities and equipment history
• Support spare parts strategy, material selection, and procurement activities
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to I and C technicians
• Participate in root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with site safety rules, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Preferred Qualifications
• Extensive experience in instrumentation and controls maintenance within LNG, refining, petrochemical, or gas processing facilities
• Strong hands on background with field instrumentation, control valves, transmitters, and analyzers
• Working knowledge of gas and liquid measurement systems from a maintenance perspective
• Experience supporting control systems and field integration
• Proven ability to lead complex troubleshooting efforts in operating facilities
• Experience interfacing with contractors and managing technical scopes of work
• Solid understanding of industry codes, standards, and safety requirements
• Ability to work in a field based, execution focused maintenance role
• Strong problem solving skills and practical technical judgment
