Completions Engineer

We're looking for a Completions Engineer to work with one of our major clients in Port Arthur, Texas.

The Completions Engineer will support the implementation and execution of the project completions process, including system handover, punch-list management, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and turnover to Operations. This role will work closely with the EPC Contractor, Construction, Commissioning, CSU, Operations, and Project Information teams to ensure systems are ready for turnover and startup.

• Support the development and implementation of project completions processes, tools, databases, and turnover plans.
• Review and validate the EPC Contractor’s completions database, system boundaries, testing and inspection records, and punch-list status.
• Coordinate system handover from Construction through CSU and ultimately to Operations.
• Monitor completion dossiers and ensure documentation is complete and aligned with project requirements.
• Coordinate with Construction, Commissioning, CSU, and Operations to establish turnover and RFSU requirements.
• Review and provide input on Contractor procedures related to completions, punch-list management, and system turnover.
• Track completions progress, identify gaps, and provide recommendations to Project/Site management.
• Prepare weekly completions reports and management updates.
• Liaise with the EPC Contractor’s completions team to ensure alignment with project expectations.
• Ensure all completions activities comply with HSE requirements and applicable codes and standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in completions, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, or system turnover within the oil & gas industry.
• Proven experience with system handover, punch-list management, completion dossiers, and plant turnover.
• Experience with LNG projects is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of engineering, construction, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Experience working with completions databases and project documentation/EDMS systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to prepare progress reports, identify issues, and provide recommendations to management.
• Fluent English required;
  Spanish is a plus.
