Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time on‑site role for a Network/Systems Engineer based in Port Arthur, TX. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems, performing regular system administration, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing technical support to resolve operational challenges. Additional tasks include collaborating with the team to optimize system performance and ensuring the reliability and security of IT infrastructure.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Systems Engineering and Systems Design to support and optimize IT operations
- Strong problem‑solving abilities for effective troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
- Experience with System Administration and Technical Support to maintain and enhance IT infrastructure reliability
- Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, CCNP, VCP, MCSA/MCSE/Equivalent) are a plus
- Experience working in cybersecurity or managed IT service environments is an advantage
