Anesthesiology - Cardiac Physician

HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is looking for a BE/BC Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital in beautiful Port Charlotte which is located on the West Coast of Florida. Ideal candidate will be Fellowship trained or have demonstrated cardiac capable experience with TEE. This cohesive Anesthesia team is built on a culture of respect, communication, collaboration, and fun!

Opportunity Highlights/Qualified Candidates:

• Care Team Model of 4 General Anesthesiologists, 2 CV Anesthesiologists and 15 CRNAs
• Case mix includes Cardiac, Ortho, Neuro. General,. Urology, ENT, Bariatric, Vascular, GYN, Thoracic. No Ob. No Trauma. No Peds.
• 10 Main ORs plus Cath Lab, IR, Endo Suites. 6 NORA sites.
• Average annual cardiac cases 150 including CABG/ AVR/MVR/TVR, AAA repair, TAVR, Mitral Clips, Watchman, AFIB
• Schedule- 45-50 hours a week on average. Beeper call with 1 Weekend call per month and a total of 10 calls a month. 30 minute response time. Very minimal call back rate.
