Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Part-Time / PRN
Grand Villa of Port Charlotte is seeking a dedicated and compassionate State-Certified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our senior living community. This flexible position is ideal for individuals seeking part-time or PRN (as needed) hours, offering a great opportunity to maintain nursing skills, stay current with certifications, or balance work with other commitments such as nursing school or retirement. Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and established care plans
- Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Assist with activities of daily living and ensure residents’ comfort and safety
- Document care provided and maintain accurate, timely records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Valid State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Current CPR certification
- Prior experience in senior care or long-term care preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards residents
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
