B. Andes Volunteer Community Clinic has added a state-of-the-art, custom 33 ft. Mobile Medical Clinic to our programming and we are looking for a qualified APRN candidate to join our awesome Mobile Medical Clinic Team! Interested in working 5 days per week, 30 – 36 hours, in designated fixed locations in Charlotte County on our Mobile Medical Clinic; this may be the right position for you!

We bring the Mobile Medical Clinic to the patients, setting up onsite services for the day within Charlotte County Communities. Our Mobile and Clinical Team is committed to the delivery of high quality evidence-based medical care with a focus on prevention, behavior change, health promotion and health maintenance activities that affect long-term health outcomes. • A passion for serving those most in need seeking access to healthcare.
• Ability to practice independently while functioning successfully within the Mobile healthcare team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Excellent computer skills and experience with common office equipment and electronic medical recordkeeping software required.
• Experience with Amazing Charts is preferred.
• Proven skills are required for the effective administering of evidence-based care
• Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse in a clinic, hospital, ER, or other settings
• Expertise in primary care, acute care, and chronic care practices
• Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
• Current Florida Licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

• Direct tasks of the Nurse Practitioner include coordination of all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and consultation.
• Collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary mobile or clinical team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients.
• Answering questions from patients and the community about the Virginia

Job Type: 30-36 hours per week, Salary:
Competitive;

Experience:

APRN – 2 Years Minimum (Preferred)

Current Florida Licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

Mobile Medical Clinic:
Designated locations in Charlotte County

Must pass background (Level II) check and drug screening.
