Location:

Port Charlotte, FL. Pay range: $20.00/hr - $45.00/hr employment Type:
Full Time. Benefits include 401(K) Matching, Dental Insurance, Employee Discount, Flexible Spending Account, Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Vision Insurance. The Boat House of Port Charlotte Service Department is seeking an experienced Marine Technician to join the team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repair services on marine engines, propulsion systems, and related components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on a variety of marine vessels.
  • Perform installations, upgrades, and modifications to enhance the performance of marine systems.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including parts used and work performed.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Proven experience as a Marine Technician with expertise in marine engine systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong knowledge of various marine vessels, including boats, yachts, and other watercraft.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in diverse environments.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel to different locations for on-site services.
  • Valid driver s license and a clean driving record.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years in a service and repair department for Marine Technician roles.
  • Experience with marine engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems in a marine dealership environment.
  • Master technician track is a plus with potential earnings of $60-80K or higher;
    Master technicians can expect 90K+.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and deliver excellent customer service.
