Shift:
Part Time;
Monday through Friday with an occasional weekend.
Wage:
$18 to $20 DOQ

The Grounds Maintenance plays an integral role in the success of our team, our community and creating a place our residents are proud to call home. You will be responsible for providing unparalleled service to our residents by responsibilities. The Grounds Maintenance is responsible for delivering excellent craftsmanship with each project they work on and ensure projects are executed in a timely and effective manner.
EssentialJob Functions, Duties, And Responsibilities
- Perform landscaping and lawn care as needed
- Maintain all equipment in top condition
- Must be able to use a riding lawn mower, weed eater and trimmers, etc.
- Replace light bulbs in the lobby, elevator, entryway, hallways, or stairwell when necessary
- Keep sidewalks clear of weeds and obstructions and add salt to remove ice when necessary
- Remove weeds from all landscaped areas, parking lots, and curbs
- Perform preventative maintenance on necessary equipment
- Responsible for the care, maintenance, and inventory of all ground supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or management company
- Notify supervisor of any resident or safety issues such as maintenance needs, resident issues or changes
- Interact positively with residents to maintain high levels of resident satisfaction
- Demonstrate strong professionalism and integrity as a representative of the community
- Contribute to cleanliness and curb appeal of the community
- Comply with all industry Fair Housing rules and regulations
- Operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times
- Other duties as assigned by Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor
- Capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to understand and communicate written and verbal directions
- Regular attendance, reliability and punctuality is necessary to meet the needs of applicants, new and current residents, guests and outside vendors during regularly scheduled hours
- Ability to work nights and weekends, upon request
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Required to work on an on-call basis
- Outstanding customer services skills
- Well organized with excellent attention to detail
- Aptitude to work independently with excellent time management skills
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Proficient in English, verbal and written
