Accounts Payable Clerk

Salary Range: $50,000.00 To $63,400.00 Annually

About the Role
We're a growing finance team looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk who's sharp with numbers, doesn't let details slip, and actually enjoys keeping things organized. You'll be the person who keeps our vendor relationships running smoothly and our invoices moving without a hitch, a real, hands‑on role where your work directly keeps the business running.

What You'll Be Doing

Processing a high volume of invoices, accurately and on time

Matching purchase orders, invoices, and packing slips

Reconciling vendor statements and chasing down discrepancies

Keeping vendor accounts current and accurate

Helping run weekly and monthly payment cycles

Communicating directly with vendors on payment questions

Supporting month-end close

Keeping our digital and physical records organized

Jumping in on other accounting tasks as they come up

What You Bring

1–3 years of AP or general accounting experience preferred, but if you've got common sense and a willingness to learn, we're happy to train the right person

Sharp attention to detail — nothing slips past you

A solid grip on basic accounting principles

Comfortable in accounting software and Excel

Strong communication skills and a knack for solving problems on the fly

Ability to juggle priorities without missing deadlines

Nice-to-Haves

Experience in construction or engineering industry

ERP systems knowledge

Post‑secondary/diploma education in Accounting, Finance, or related field
