Experienced Woodwinds Lessons Instructor

Long & McQuade is hiring an Experienced Woodwinds Lessons Instructor in Port Coquitlam, BC. This contract position entails teaching on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends based on student needs.

The Lessons Teacher will work as an independent contractor, delivering woodwinds education in a vibrant learning environment. Candidates must possess a music degree, diploma, or professional equivalency, along with teaching experience for all age groups. A solid grasp of teaching methods and lesson structures is crucial for effective instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach woodwinds to students of varied levels

• Design lesson plans to achieve educational objectives

• Monitor and encourage student progress

• Create a stimulating and supportive learning atmosphere

• Keep current with teaching technologies and methodologies

Requirements:

• Music degree or equivalent qualifications preferred

• At least Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments

• Previous teaching experience required

• Knowledge of private or group lesson formats

• Availability for flexible teaching hours
