Education Assistant

Position: Full-Time Education Assistant Needed
Archbishop Carney Regional Secondary School is seeking a dedicated Catholic Education Assistant to support student success in Port Coquitlam. This full-time role starts September 1 in a culturally diverse school community.

Join a faith-based environment that nurtures the whole child didates should hold Catholic values and preferably be certified as Education Assistants. While prior experience with young people is valued, it is not mandatory. The position will last until June 30, with a chance of continuation for the next academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in classroom management and student support

• Facilitate educational activities and programs

• Engage with students during various school events

• Work collaboratively with teachers and staff

• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• Must be a practicing Catholic

• Certification as an Education Assistant is an asset

• Experience working with youth is beneficial

• Submit to a criminal record check if outside BC

• Proof of work eligibility in Canada is essential
