Position: Civil Engineering Materials Technician Role

This position supports construction services under the Engineering Manager's guidance. Ideal candidates possess solid technical backgrounds and strong communication skills. You'll conduct materials tests, including soils and aggregates, while adhering to safety and compliance standards prevalent in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field tests on concrete, soil, and aggregate materials

• Execute field sampling for various geotechnical projects

• Ensure adherence to CSA and ASTM testing standards

• Assist in effective materials testing and certifications

• Support work order management alongside the Laboratory Supervisor

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or substantial experience

• 2-5 years in testing soil and concrete materials

• CCIL certification eligibility in relevant categories

• Understanding of QA/QC inspection procedures

• Competence in Microsoft Office applications
