en Compass is searching for an experienced Automation Engineer to join our Engineering and Controls Team. This role focuses on design engineering, control system programming, and field engineering across various industries, including Ports, Utilities, and Manufacturing. Candidates should exhibit a strong desire for growth and possess industrial automation skills, as the position involves significant project delivery tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct electrical design for industrial facilities
• Execute PLC programming on leading hardware
• Develop HMI interfaces using Factory Talk or Ignition
• Interface with databases and IT systems
• Oversee commissioning and start-up processes
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related diploma
• Proficient in PLC programming and electrical design
• Experience with ABB and Rockwell drives
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drafting tools
• Valid driver's license for travel
