Position: Manufacturing Supply Chain Buyer Role
Become a key player in supply chain management as a Manufacturing Supply Chain Buyer for KONGSBERG in Port Coquitlam, BC, focusing on sourcing and logistical excellence. Collaborate within a supportive and agile environment that champions continuous improvement.

In this role, you will effectively balance the demands of purchasing raw materials and managing supplier relationships to uphold production schedules. Your insight into inventory management and data analysis will assist in maintaining stock levels while ensuring timely deliveries. Work alongside Production Planning and Quality departments to facilitate seamless operations and improve workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Issue and manage Purchase Orders in ERP systems

• Monitor and analyze supplier delivery performance

• Review MRP requirements for purchasing strategy

• Expedite critical shortages in the supply chain

• Maintain compliance with purchasing regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in a related field preferred

• 2-5 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing

• Solid understanding of supply chain processes

• Proven skills in data analysis and reporting

• Strong communication and negotiation skills
