We are looking for a production Supervisor to join our team. The Production Supervisor oversees 25 production employees at the Meadow fresh plant, ensuring quality and cost‑effectiveness through hiring and developing an effective team, monitoring production metrics, scheduling, and taking action to resolve issues as required.

Experience
  • You have a minimum 5 years of supervisory experience working at a food production facility.
  • You have a thorough understanding of GMP’s, HACCP, and food quality and safety principles.
  • You possess the ability to troubleshoot food production equipment.
  • You have experience with regulatory inspections and 3rd‑party audits.
Nice‑to‑Have
  • Good knowledge and understanding of dairy processing and principles.
  • Certified in Lean Six Sigma.
  • Experience in Lean, GMP, 5s, SQF/BRC Auditor training.
  • Experience in production planning, packaging and ingredient procurement.
Things You Will Do…
  • Manage the facility’s Production and Sanitation departments and its personnel.
  • Schedule production and staffing of employees.
  • Drive a culture of safety for all employees.
  • Meet Production goals and objectives.
  • Support and develop Floor employees.
  • Drive efficiencies and improvements.
  • Review production department systems and processes to ensure efficient operation and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Meet and exceed production efficiency, labor, employment standards.
  • Oversee procurement of plant supplies, ingredients, equipment, and services.
  • Hire, train, evaluate, motivate, and discipline production and sanitation personnel as needed.
  • Review operational requirements and make recommendations to the Plant Manager for continuous plant improvements.
  • Promote safety performance and culture.
  • Work closely with Quality and Warehouse departments to improve overall plant performance.
