CNC Punch Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Elevate your CNC expertise as a 2nd Shift Punch Machine Operator  this role, you will skillfully operate advanced CNC equipment to produce precision copper busbars.

Thyssenkrupp is searching for a Punch Machine Operator to join our team on the 2nd Shift. This position requires 2-4 years of CNC fabrication experience, focusing on copper bar manipulation and programming. You will ensure product quality and efficiency while collaborating closely with engineering and production teams to drive improvements in processes and tooling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Boschert CU Profi punch machine

• Create and optimize CNC/CAM programs for production

• Perform inspections and adjustments to maintain tolerances

• Load and align copper stock accurately

• Monitor tooling wear and conduct preventive maintenance

Requirements:

• 2-4 years operating CNC fabrication equipment

• Proficient in CAD/CAM for 2.5D profiles

• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and tolerances

• Hands-on experience with metal fabrication centers

• Safety mindset and ability to lift copper bar stock
