Position: Groundsperson
Responsibilities- Groundwork support for trimming operations.
- Operate chainsaw and chipper; load brush.
- Assist Crew Leader in job-site setup, debris removal, cleanup and equipment maintenance.
- Abide by industry safety policies and procedures.
- Rake up and leaf-blow job sites.
- Rig limbs as required.
- Valid provincial driver’s license. Licensed to drive a 5-ton vehicle; air brake endorsement is an asset.
- Willingness to work toward becoming a certified arborist.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Previous landscape/horticulture experience is an asset.
- Ability to work safely as part of a team; willingness to learn and progress.
- Full-time, year-round employment.
- Salary: $20-$24/hour depending on experience and education.
