Position: Safety Officer for Industrial Projects
Drive safety processes with en Compass Solutions Group as a Safety Officer specializing in industrial projects.

This role offers the chance to enhance the COR-certified program and ensure safety compliance on-site.

The successful candidate will lead ongoing safety initiatives and contribute significantly to maintaining a culture of safety across various industrial environments. You'll work closely with field teams to identify hazards and deliver safety training, ensuring that operations align with best practices and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the implementation of safety procedures

• Conduct audits and on-site inspections regularly

• Collaborate with project managers to assess job hazards

• Facilitate safety orientations and training for staff

• Track performance indicators and manage safety records

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years in safety management, preferably in industrial settings

• Valid CRSP, NCSO, or comparable safety credentials

• Strong grasp of WorkSafeBC regulatory standards

• Excellent reporting and communication skills

• Willingness to travel to various project sites
