We are looking for a dynamic Quality Assurance Manager to join our rapidly growing company to lead our Quality Assurance team! Our Quality Assurance Manager will play an integral role within the management team in ensuring that our products satisfy all quality and regulatory requirements before they reach our customers.

- You have experience working with the CFIA and an understanding of the applicable regulations and audits
- You have a strong working knowledge of and demonstrated ability to implement HACCP, GFSI Schemes (SQF, BRC, or ISO), SOPs, SSOPs, and GMPs applicable to food production and food safety principles.
- You have demonstrated solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- You have excellent numerical skills and an understanding of data analysis methods
- You have proven experience as a QA Manager
- You have a Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or other relevant education
- You have a minimum of three years of thorough hands‑on knowledge of food/dairy quality assurance standards and processes
- You have experience implementing RCAs to solve complex QA/QC technical issues
- You have cross‑functional training (production and projects)
- You have led third‑party GFSI and CFIA audits
- You have experience in UHT and ESL processing
- Manage the Company’s Quality Assurance Department and its personnel, including the establishment of goals, schedules, priorities, staffing, training, and budgets.
- Review quality assurance system and methods on a periodic basis to ensure its efficient operation and its compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Implement, monitor and verify HACCP and Food Safety Program.
- Promote and maintain food safety, food quality and food defense requirements.
- Ensure the operation meets and/or exceeds quality, distribution and production guidelines as set by government and company standards.
- Review QA inspection reports to assess findings, responses, and need for follow-up activities.
- Audit and review all programs and procedures on annual basis or when significant changes/implementations occurred.
- Ensure that the Good Laboratory Practice Master Schedule is maintained according to regulations, standards, and procedures.
- Conduct plant inspections and support production, sanitation, maintenance, and warehouse departments when food safety, quality or compliance issues may arise.
- Conduct follow-up with different departments on action plans as a result of HACCP reassessments / internal and external audits.
- Occasionally work on R&D projects for implementation of new product ideas
- Effectively communicate with personnel, clients, subcontractors, regulatory inspectors, and third-party organizations.
- Hire, review, motivate, and discipline, as appropriate, QA personnel.
- Perform other related jobs that may be assigned by the Plant Manager.
