Quality Assurance Technician Reports to: Quality Assurance Manager
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our Quality Assurance team! Our Quality Assurance Technician will help us ensure all our products meet regulatory, internal, and customer requirements.

The QA technician will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure that raw material or finished product is inspected and released in time and that non‑conforming product disposition is handled in an efficient manner.

- You understand HACCP concepts and processes (training in HACCP)
- You have intermediate level Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
- You have a Degree in Food Science or related discipline
- You have experience working in a similar capacity, preferably in a food production facility
- You have experience troubleshooting complex QA issues
- Ensure products meet company and regulatory standards by running tests, inspections, reports and more
- Help manage all QA and QC records, documents, and samples pertaining to HACCP, SQF, CFIA, etc.
- Carry out lab testing including micro test, organoleptic evaluation and other dairy tests.
- Support with writing and improving standard operating procedures
- Champion shelf‑life studies and creating meaningful reports
- Participate in internal and external audits and implement needed changes
- Effectively communicate quality control expectations to employees and support with training for GMP’s
- Verification of all sanitation activities pertaining to preoperative inspection, swabbing and calibration.
- You are willing to work flexible shifts to cover vacations, sick days, or leave if required
- You must be available to work shifts that rotate.
This position requires flexibility to support operational needs. The successful candidate must be available shifts of 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM (Mon‑Fri) or 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (Sun‑Thu).
