Position: Michaels Customer Support Specialist
Support customers and enhance their shopping experience at Michaels as a Customer Support Specialist in Port Coquitlam, BC. Promote a friendly and helpful checkout experience.

As a key team member, you’ll assist shoppers in navigating the store and provide excellent customer service. Key responsibilities include managing cash handling during checkout, unloading merchandise, and ensuring a well-presented retail environment. You will also have the opportunity to educate customers on the benefits of loyalty programs and assist with various store processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide customers in product selection and shopping

• Execute fast and friendly cash handling and checkout

• Engage customers about the Rewards program

• Participate in inventory unloading and stocking

• Uphold merchandise recovery and store standards

Requirements:

• Preferred experience in retail or customer service

• Capability to stand and move throughout the store

• Ability to lift heavy items and use ladders

• Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Effective communication and positive interaction skills
