environment? We are looking for you! OZZ Electric BC is an industry leading contractor working on exciting high-rise residential

and commercial projects across the lower mainland. You will join our growing team as a key member on the tools, both mentoring

apprentices and assisting foremen, in order to help build state-of-the-art projects for our clients.

Responsibilities

As a Journeyperson you will be responsible for:

• Installing electrical equipment based on blueprints and in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code specifications
• Connecting wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment
• Terminating wiring in generators, transfer switches, and junction devices
• Observing functions of installed equipment to detect hazards and the need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement
• Testing continuity of circuits to ensure integrity and safety

Educational And Professional Requirements

• Journeyperson Electrician ticket (Red Seal an asset)
• Experience working on high rise and/or commercial new construction projects
• Good knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and local requirements
• Excellent communication and time management skills

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Typical 5-day work week; overtime may be required to meet construction deadlines
• Local work in the lower mainland
