Position yourself at the forefront of care with Connective as a Youth Residence Worker in Port Coquitlam, BC. This role, available Friday to Monday, promotes life skills and emotional support for children.

The Youth Residence Worker will support the establishment of a specialized program for youth facing behavioral and health challenges. This position involves direct interaction with youth, facilitating their daily living needs while helping them integrate into community activities. Strong communication and crisis management skills are essential to effectively advocate for residents’ interests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with residents daily

• Assist in creating individualized support plans

• Provide emotional and behavioral support

• Coordinate activities and appointments

• Collaborate with healthcare and educational professionals

Requirements:

• Diploma in behavioral sciences, social work, or related area

• Experience with youth with complex needs

• 2+ years in a similar caregiving role

• Valid BC driver’s license with insured vehicle

• Current First Aid certification and clean criminal record
