Position: Kongsberg Software Test Co-op Student Role
Embark on a software testing journey with Kongsberg Discovery Canada Ltd. as a Co-op Student. Contribute to the development and validation of advanced underwater systems.

You will work closely with the Software Manager to support the verification of applications used in subsea sonar systems. This co-op opportunity encompasses hands-on experience with testing processes, including defect analysis and software quality enhancement in a collaborative engineering environment. Your involvement will include the development of test procedures and active participation in software design reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional and system-level software tests

• Help maintain automated testing frameworks

• Track and verify defects using issue tracking tools

• Analyze test outcomes and collaborate with engineers

• Contribute to software release validations

Requirements:

• Enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar

• Eligible for co-op after 3rd or 4th year

• Knowledge of testing and development methods

• Programming skills in Python, C++, or Java

• Collaborative and analytical mindset
