Shift: Day shift

Wage: $23.65 – $25.65 per hour

Deliver office supplies on the assigned route to Staples customer accounts while meeting internal schedule and quality standards. Provide outstanding delivery service to customers and accept product returns as required. Delivery vehicle and all necessary equipment provided by Staples.

• Prepare for deliveries by gathering appropriate paperwork and performing pre‑trip vehicle inspections while reporting any maintenance problems to supervisor.
• Deliver products and accept returns from customers as per their requirements while obtaining signatures and completing all required paperwork.
• Address and resolve customer feedback and inform supervisor of outstanding issues.
• Engage in safe work practices and ensure cleanliness of vehicle is maintained.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 1 year of truck driving experience of a 16 ft. or longer straight truck.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean 5‑year driver’s abstract (no major moving violations).
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds unassisted; experience using hand truck/dolly preferred.
• Good knowledge of metro area, able to navigate and read a map and use mobile Proof‑of‑Delivery devices.
• Proficient in customer service, verbal and written communication, problem solving, time management and organization.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced setting under time constraints.

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push/pull, or balance weight for extended periods of time.
• Frequent lifting, moving, and/or carrying up to a maximum of 70 pounds unassisted or using dolly type equipment.
• Must be able to enter and/or scan product and customer information into a hand‑held scanner.
• Drive throughout assigned route in all kinds of weather and road conditions.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
