Toro Aluminum Group of Companies is seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our operations team. This existing role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials that support our construction projects.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining accuracy, safety, and organization. If you’re a hands‑on team player who enjoys physical work and contributing to a larger operation, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely execute daily warehouse tasks while following all company procedures and safety protocols
- Receive, inspect, and process inbound and outbound materials with accuracy
- Maintain inventory control by counting, tracking, and logging materials in accordance with company policies
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas efficiently and safely
Operate tools and equipment, including a drill press, according to specifications and safety standards - Support other departments as needed, including assisting with shipping and delivery preparation
- Dispose of scrap, recycling, and waste materials in accordance with environmental and company guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free warehouse environment
- Lift, move, and position materials (up to 55 lbs.), including large or awkward components
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding workflow, issues, and task completion
- Demonstrate consistent attendance, reliability, and a strong work ethic
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or construction materials handling experience
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- Able to safely lift and move materials up to 55 lbs. on a regular basis
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast‑paced environment
- Basic familiarity with warehouse tools and equipment (e.g., drill press, hand tools)
- Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems, handheld scanners, or warehouse software is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/365 (Outlook, Excel, or similar) for tracking, reporting, and communication purposes
- Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines with minimal supervision
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to support multiple departments
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Forklift certification or willingness to be trained is an asset
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
