Junior Accountant – Property Investment & Development (Gqeberha)

A well-established property investment and development company based in Gqeberha is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Performing bookkeeping functions up to trial balance
• Processing supplier invoices, reconciliations, and payments
• Managing municipal accounts, including handling queries and meter reconciliations
• Preparing and submitting VAT and dividends tax returns
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management reports
• Compiling annual audit packs
• Supporting basic payroll processing and payroll tax administration
• Assisting the Financial Manager with:
  • Reviewing payment packs
  • Monitoring company tax liabilities
  • Compiling and reviewing management reports
  • Performing basic CIPC and company secretarial duties

• BCom Degree with Accounting as a major subject
• Recently graduated (or limited work experience)
• Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office
• Exposure to accounting software packages will be advantageous
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, open‑plan office environment
