Audit Associate

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Associate to join their assurance team in Port Elizabeth . • Conduct financial audits in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
• Perform risk assessments and develop audit plans for assigned engagements.
• Examine financial statements, records, and internal control systems for accuracy and effectiveness.
• Gather and analyze audit evidence, documenting findings clearly and concisely.
• Communicate audit progress and findings to audit managers and clients.
• Assist in preparing audit reports and management letters.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Currently pursuing or holding a professional accounting designation (e.g., SAICA trainee, CTA).
• 1-3 years of experience in external audit or a related field.
• Solid understanding of auditing principles and financial reporting frameworks.
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills, integrity, and a commitment to professional ethics.
