Agricultural Operations Coordinator

Our client is seeking an organized and proactive Agricultural Operations Coordinator to support their farming activities near Port Elizabeth. This hybrid role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the farm by coordinating schedules, managing resources, and facilitating communication between different departments. You will assist the Farm Manager in planning and executing operational tasks, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

The position offers a blend of on-site operational support and remote administrative tasks, providing a dynamic work experience.

• Assist in coordinating planting, cultivation, irrigation, and harvesting schedules.
• Manage farm inventory, including seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and equipment parts.
• Facilitate communication between field staff, management, and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate farm records and operational logs, including data entry and reporting.
• Support the implementation of safety protocols and ensure compliance with agricultural best practices.

• Associate's degree or relevant qualification in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role, preferably within the agricultural sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic database management.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
