Hire Resolve is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their client’s team in the Eastern Cape. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to advance their career in the construction industry.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing and controlling costs throughout the construction process, from initial estimates to final accounts. You will work closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projectsAnalyze project specifications and develop cost-effective solutionsMonitor and control project costs throughout the construction phasePrepare and manage project budgetsProvide regular progress reports and financial forecastsWork collaboratively with the project team to ensure successful project deliveryIf you have a strong background in quantity surveying, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality construction projects, we encourage you to apply.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related fieldProficiency in cost estimating software and toolsKnowledge of construction contracts and regulationsStrong analytical and mathematical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well in a team and independentlyFamiliarity with the construction industry in the Eastern Cape region is preferredBenefits
