Site Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Site Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations on construction sites in and around Port Elizabeth . This role is critical for ensuring that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. You will supervise on-site personnel, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure adherence to project schedules and plans. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with a strong understanding of construction practices and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

• Supervise and direct daily on-site construction activities and workforce.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor project progress against the schedule and report any deviations.
• Coordinate the activities of subcontractors and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards and identify potential issues.
• Maintain daily site logs and complete required documentation.

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreman in the construction industry.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, methods, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in the Eastern Cape .
