Remote Construction Planner

Our client is seeking a meticulous and forward-thinking Remote Construction Planner to join their innovative team. In this fully remote position, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and monitoring detailed construction schedules and plans for projects across the country. Your expertise in project scheduling and resource allocation will be crucial for ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and on time, even when working from a distance.

This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively collaborate with project managers and site teams virtually, contributing to the strategic planning and successful execution of diverse construction endeavors in areas like Port Elizabeth .

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning software.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to gather input for planning and scheduling.
• Monitor project progress against the schedule, identify potential delays, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Analyze resource requirements (labor, materials, equipment) and ensure their availability aligns with the construction plan.
• Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for project stakeholders, communicating key milestones and potential risks.
• Optimize construction sequences and methods to improve efficiency and reduce project timelines.

• Proven experience as a Construction Planner or Scheduler, with a strong portfolio of managed projects.
• Proficiency in project management and scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar.
• Solid understanding of construction processes , sequencing, and site operations.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, effective for remote collaboration.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications to develop accurate plans.
